Julia Tarasyuk is a curator and author specializing in Japanese contemporary art. Through her projects and publications, she promotes an exchange between Japanese and international creative communities providing an insight into the local art scene. Having lived in Tokyo for over six years, Julia is currently based in London where she organizes and curates exhibitions by Japanese artists. Her latest projects include group exhibition New Nature and Hanadome project at PATERSON ZEVI, London, and Fumi Imamura solo presentation at Lyndsey Ingram, London.

Julia has published numerous articles on culture related subjects in various international magazines, printed and online, contributed to artist books and exhibition catalogues and founded an online magazine offering a new perspective on museum going. In 2018 she authored Art Tokyo book, which unveils the art scene in one of the most intriguing countries in the world.

Designing itineraries and organising bespoke trips focused on contemporary art in Japan. Clients include Phillips auction house, Asia New Zealand Foundation, The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, AMEX Centurion, and Valentino, private collectors.
